Poole Refurbishment works completed

UX Architects is proud to announce the successful completion of refurbishment works on a Grade II listed Georgian building in the historic Old Town area of Poole Quay. After obtaining full planning permission and listed building consent, we transformed this architectural gem into a dual-purpose space. The stylish restaurant now occupies the ground floor. While the upper floors have been transformed into a charming boutique bed and breakfast offering spectacular views over Poole Quay.

Preserving History While Adding Modern Functionality

Working on a Grade II listed building presents unique challenges. Our team carefully preserved the historical features of the Georgian structure while adapting it for modern use. The restoration included sensitive interventions to ensure that the building remains in keeping with its historical significance. While still meeting contemporary standards for safety, comfort, and accessibility.

Creating a Unique Destination in Poole

The new restaurant on the ground floor provides a welcoming atmosphere. While offering diners views of Poole Quay through original Georgian windows. Above, the boutique bed and breakfast offers guests a unique stay in Poole, blending historic charm with modern comfort. Each room thoughtfully preserves the building’s original character while providing the latest amenities for a comfortable and modern stay.

Sustainable Design Solutions

In keeping with UX Architects’ commitment to sustainability, we incorporated eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient systems wherever possible. By using local suppliers and craftspeople, we minimized the environmental impact of the renovation, while also supporting the local economy.
