Set within the rolling hills of the Purbeck countryside and the A.O.N.B (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) was the formally known, 10 bedroom Purbeck Vineyard. 


The client purchased the site due to the astonishing views towards the Purbeck steam railway and hillside landscape beyond. The application sought to remove the existing building whilst retaining a similar footprint in a contemporary Arts and Crafts style to create a stunning 5-bedroom family home with integral double garage, gym, office, yoga studio, library and indoor swimming pool with spa facilities. 

The glazed entrance atrium is the focal point of the house, with a double height space with glazed openings above and sliding pocket doors to the lounge that frame the views to the countryside. The opened oak clad treads and cantilevered staircase with feature chandelier add to the lightness and openness of the space.


Construction of the dwelling is currently in progress and is due for completion in Spring 2021.
